hi, i am using a sound blaster live sound card with a headset. how can i get the audio to come through my headset without unplugging my speakers? i have done this before but cannot get anything to come through the headset now. this headset also has a mic, so is used for skype etc.
Can you get a splitter? At least I believe that is what they're called. I have my Mic headphone set hooked up with my speakers with a splitter. The splitter plugs in where the speakers normally would, and has to plug ins for speakers and head phones to plug into. It seems to work well for me.
Change your speaker settings to 4 speakers. You will then be able to have sounds coming through your headset.
